Lots of people on bench. Really worried about lay offs. Does thoughtworks lay off if someone is not assigned to project for few months?

So I am working as a UI UX designer since Jan22. I started with a really good project (everything from the scratch) with research, knowing the user etc. The project went really well. It was my first project that I handled individually. I got another project it also went well. Then I was told to work directly with a client, it's been 2 months already we work late hours and also on weekend (asked by the client). It feels like my personal life is gone. Do you think I should change job?

I’ve noticed an increase in clients discussing breeding their pets. Animals that, IMO, definitely should not be bred. What do you say to encourage the client to reconsider?

So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.

For the people who earned the SHRM-CP, did you feel it was worth it? I have an indirect HR position, been applying for more HR focused positions and wondering if this would help. I got the CAPM (certified associate of project management) in December, but that hasn’t really changed things. Would love some opinions before working on another certification!

I got an offer from teksystems India for hpe client. My question is what will happen if someday HPE don't want us to work for them anymore or maybe project development ends...so will teksystems move us to different client within 2 month (as they say) or will they fire us?

So I worked from home yesterday and my husband had a sneak peak on my meetings with clients (which I’m very new to being a senior). He mention that I should read some sales pitch books of some sorts so I can get a process down and not be drain from having genuine conversations with every client. I think it’s a great idea. My ECD keeps changing our work before it goes to client and it's cost us making good work. Our books are suffering because he can't get his hands off the tools. Our books are only full of spec now.

I recently joined TW some months back and I dont know why I think have made a wrong choice for myself. I am feeling like I am lost. I am not able to fit in in this high expectations environment. I am used to working in a place where we always worked by taking help from others and here it is sort of assumed that we would be knowing everything right from day 1. Also there is no pairing in my project. Any suggestions on what should be done would be welcome.

Hey Peeps, I got an offer from Thoughtworks. I heard that you get some stocks too. But the offer letter does not mention it. HR confirmed it though that there would be a separate communication regarding the same. I have 7.5 YOE and joining as Senior consultant QA. How much stocks value can i expect to get?

Folks, one doubt..... I was hired as a senior consultant in dec 2021. I did not nominated for grade change till now. Will they automatically consider me for grade change or do I have to expicitely talk about it with PC ? Also if grade is changed, how is the impact on salary considering the parity check ? Right now I am at 25 lakhs with 8.3 years of experience.
