I'm curious what the average salary is for an Associate Agent. I'm licensed & do everything after the sale is made as well as refer new business. I have 14 years in the industry but have been at the current company less than a year, so I know that plays a part as well. Anyone in a like-position by chance?State Farm Allstate Travelers

Leave. Take a new opportunity, there was a reason you were looking.
Here’s the thing you were out looking for a reason and nine times out of 10 that reason had something to do with money. All of a sudden your current company goes uh oh - I guess we should pay him/her, I don’t think so.
They should’ve paid you in the first place!
I think you should take the new position. The counter-offers will come with new expectations and strings attached. Don’t burn any bridges and you could boomerang back in a few years.
Most people who accept a counteroffer leave within a year. The underlying issues that led you to look for a new job in the first place haven’t been and likely aren’t going to be addressed.
