I'm working as a tax consultant in deloitte, and I'm burned out. Working 60-70 hours a week has made me really stressed, it's affecting my work performance, and health.

I really want to get out of this profile, as only other big 4s hire US tax people. Can someone please suggest me what i profile i can switch to which has decent exit opportunities, and work life balance, and how to do it?

Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

Anyone have slow months where you burn through a lot of your allotted pro bono/professional development hours to keep hitting minimum daily hours? The past few weeks have been like this for me. Should I be concerned (I.e., will this reflect poorly on me, come review time? Will I have dug myself too much of a hole if I keep burning my non-billable hours?) I returned back from Germany this year and now my current fixed CTC in India is 25 LPA and my in hand salary after deduction was 1.4 LPM, I was not sure what to opt in the Tax regime and selected new tax regime. Can someone shed some light how can I increase my in hand salary and reduce the tax. Also can I change my tax regime while filing Tax returns?

Switching team internally competing with external candidates. was asking a promotion for next grade midpoint but was ok to accept >=50% hike which i told hiring manager before the process start itself which he said will consider if I'm the one selected.

Attended 5 rounds-- 1 coding, 2 technical, 1 managerial, 1 hr. Now after 2 months telling me I'm the selected one, but offering me just 20% hike and same grade
