Better to leave cisco as lay offs are happening quite often and from what I heard even very good performers are getting laid off. So every 6months you have to live with the dilemma of layoffs
I think you should take up the new offer!
Palo Alto is a good company.
Cisco is doing too many layoffs

to be honest, you are underpaid in Cisco AND low balled by PaloAlto. switch now for future's sake.

32 is minimum that you should be eyeing for as base pay, var/bonus/esops/rsu arw additionals.
i was in same situation, not under paid though. great work life balance, supporting manager etc. but this sets up a cocoon around us and once we get comfortable in that, we are done.
I don't want to leave Cisco , can I ask my manager to hike my salary as I have an offer now?
Which company you got offer from and how much is the increment and in which bu are you on Cisco?
Move on, as layoffs not yet completed
You may very well ask that.. no harm.
