Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

Appraisal process starts in Oct...during that time managers have already decided what they want to give (including promotion cases with justification). If someone is expecting promotion then Aug-Sept is the time to keep reminding his/her manager and provide all the points to build your case. In Nov/Dec The RRP quota made available to each manager is given and they have to fit their numbers within it. But in Jan recalibration is done to align numbers overall where Executive leadership decides how much to give or not give. You get letters in Feb end or early March. Payout of bonus on 31 March.
