I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. In what universe this above avg? You clearly are out of tune with the market saying that. 100% false info unless in big law.

Nah. But AM 200. Big law first years are at 215k now. A lot of big mid laws here in Tampa make between 140-175 for first years. Ours is the latter.

Construction matters. Solo practitioner and a billable requirement of 1500/year
South FL. In-house counsel. 5 yoe. 125k salary.
Tampa, 2 YOE, ID property and general liability, $95k with unlimited bonus potential, no set hour requirements and I haven’t had a talking to yet about my hours. Large ID firm.
Jax,1yoe, 1800 billable, workers comp defense, 90k
Gainesville, 6.5 YOE, $90k. Construction lit.
Tampa, 4 YOE, Construction, midsize firm, $156 K with expected bonus of about $18 K, 1900 billable hour requirement.
