I recently applied to the Content Designer, 2023 Graduate remote role at Atlassian and I'd appreciate it if I could get a referral.
Here are some details to aid in your decision-making:
- Last summer, I worked at Google as a UX Content Design Intern.
- I am currently in a grad program at
NYU and will graduate in Spring 2023.
- Before graduate school, I spent 3+ years as a Copywriter in Advertising.
I'd really appreciate any recommendation I can get at this time.
Hi, I've recently got selected to IBM GBS, and my husband working for PSU I am from Andhrapradesh and IBM location is Chennai. I've 1year baby. Due to this I can't relocate to Chennai. Is there anyway to handle this like working remotely from my home ? Will IBM allows me to do like that. ? IBM Infosys Tata Consultancy Accenture Amazon

Uh don’t you work at KPMG lol
I think apart from the generic different and life paths of audit versus tax
If you are doing well at KPMG I would say network is key, so if your kid doesn’t mind navigating as a nepo baby. Why not.
Are they more interested in tax or audit? Start there
As a tax senior, I would recommend audit. In both, there are opportunities to continue developing communication and technical skills, but there is at least the perception of superior exit opps from audit. I would listen to your child and if he/she has an inclination towards one or the other, then that’s probably a good pathway.
lol troll.
Tax every time.
Tax for life.
Audit makes it easier to turn to corporate for better hours and pay.

Why did you apply for both tax and audit jobs out of curiosity?
Anyway, company matters less for this decision. You’re basically just asking audit or tax.
Tax is better if you think you want to stay in public. Manager+ level exits from audit will have more industry opportunities they’re qualified for. If you’re someone who thinks you’re going to leave public after 2-3 years, it doesn’t really matter. At that point you haven’t really become an audit or a tax person; you’re just an accountant with a few years of big 4 experience.
