I am on bench from 1 nov 2022. I am PA.
JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Depends how many rounds of interviews you have had. If it's one or two, I would assume it's a no go. If you have had more, it's complicated. It's possible they are just interviewing others and keeping options open or that something changed internally and they may have to revisit at a later stage. Hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.
But it's frustrating how this has become the norm now. Interview and then disappear
HR is never well funded so don’t assume they are anything like efficient and effective. They don’t seem enthusiastic though, do they?
No one has reached out to me.
It's probable that you've been ghosted. However, it's been a strange time, there are people saying how companies seem to be purposely moving slowly when it comes to hiring. It's that idea that no one knows what to make of the economy, so it's all a wait and see game. It's conceivable your application is still viable, though it would be wise to keep looking elsewhere.
