Interviewed for SDE2 – Frontend at Habuild. The process was smooth, but the technical round was disappointing. I solved a DP problem optimally and a greedy problem with O(n)/O(1) complexity, but the interviewer dismissed my correct approach without proper validation. As someone with 1000+ DSA problems solved, this felt unfair. Interviewers should be technically sound to ensure fair evaluation. Outcome: Rejected. Overall: Negative.

Hey everyone! At what stage do you think it would be appropriate to share that I am currently on an H-1B work visa? I got reached out by the CEO regarding an opportunity they are recruiting for. I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. In the application they didn’t ask about sponsorship or anything, and I didn’t want to automatically disqualify myself by telling them before giving my final round presentation. My final interview is Tuesday.

Thoughts: Managers and senior managers should intervene when project folks starts working more than 8 hours. It's sad that initially everybody talks about 8 hours work goal but employee forced or end up working more than 10 hours. Company is not asking you to work more than 8 hours, it's the pressure from peers and seniors and managers who do "a gentle request" to finish a task asap.
Also managers, Please teach new techies to hold the horses and not put there peer in pressure.
