Is 26 too old to be going out / partying? How old is too old? (Ignoring the current pandemic)

I think around 45 is when you start to take it easy

Crap, I missed that memo.

I’m 41, with two kids. We still party like college students, but can afford ubers and better alcohol. Well, until Coronavirus hit.

likefunnyuplifting

I am in late 40s and no kids, so before this pandemic crap I would fly to Rio or Madrid or London or LA and would party there. And yes, you go to better clubs and drink better stuff cause you can afford it, but back home it’s mostly home life and working out

No, it’s definitely not! Just be careful out there. You’ll know when it’s time to hang up the boots.

You are fine. As long as it doesn’t affect your work and isn’t affecting loved ones or your health. Once you pass 30 that’s debatable

Is this not voter intimidation? Also, aren’t elections managed at the state level? Is he even allowed to deploy “poll watchers”?

Hey all! I have an interview with
Deloitte in Regulatory Risk and more precisely in their Investment Management Services team. I would like to know if anyone
knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).
Is it the case here?
Thanks!

Situation: got an offer from firm X; highly likely to get a better offer from firm Y but official offer would take a couple of more weeks in best case scenario. However, firm X’s offer validity about to run out. Would you: (1) accept X’s offer now but rescind later if Y converts (2) ask X for additional time to decide (they’re “prestigious” and may not offer additional time...) (3) Play straight, decline X and hope Y converts (4) any other creative ideas ...???
