Absolutely - it's not not as commoditized as employment, not covered by ELPI, ans the top labor lawyers are boomers who need ti eventually retire. If another dem gets into office we are also likely to see an increase in union jobs.

If it helps I was at one of the top big-law employment practice and they were always looking for labor lawyers of your vintage.

I just changed my LinkedIn to describe myself as a labor lawyer and now I’m getting tons of suggested connections with people who have the job title “laborer.”

I’m a second year in general litigation. I’ve been drafting briefs, memos, letters, motions, etc. but I’m getting the documents back with a lot of redline. What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?
