You can always communicate your situation to the next potential employer. Something along the lines of you will be receiving X bonus 2 months from now so you would like to stay at your current company until then, unless they are willing to match that. This is what happened in my case. They partially covered for it with a sign on bonus. And with the increased pay, the months of work leading up to the bonus more or less covered for the remainder of the missed bonus.
Hard to say, I’ve never been offered a spot bonus and have had some starts dates that were little over a month out. Maybe they just didn’t want me that bad though!😂 Are you already in talks to start another role somewhere else? I understand not wanting to leave money on the table like that.
Typically called a sign-on bonus to compensate for any bonus you may be leaving on the table for quitting too soon

I mean some firms will match the bonus to join early.
It really depends on the company, but generally, they might be more open to a later start if you’re a great fit and they can’t wait to have you on board. As for the spot bonus, some companies might offer incentives to get you to start sooner, but it’s worth negotiating.
I’ve switched jobs twice and both times the new role made me whole for any bonus i would have forgone or had to pay back.
This time of year, it is also common for people to not want to leave a team in the midst of busy season. New employers don’t love it but usually respect it since they would want the same courtesy on their end. So you can also use that as a reason for delaying a start date.
I wouldn't tell new employer the details, that's not really their business. If they want you, they will wait.
