I've been trying to update my resume with my last 5 years of experience and I'm completely overwhelmed. At this point I just need to hire a resume writer. I need someone who can talk to me about my experience and actually write the resume, not just edit an existing resume. Does anyone have a recommendation? Is ResumeSpice worth the money?

I shifted for around 30% hike. I guess many do too but probably don't post 🤔 also it depends on our existing salary and the roles we get. I chose a company which gave me 30% hike over the one which gave me around 50% for reasons like wlb, job security, role etc. 🙏🏼
Even I am in same situation too, guess all BA have similar like of thinking
It all depends on experience level and skills .
Some skills are more in demand and at lower experience level you can expect big jump.
When I made first switch at 2 yoe, I got 70 percent hike without negotiating. It was good but I started with low base.
Now at 15 yoe I made another switch, the hike is around 40 percent but very significant in terms of absolute amount.
It depends on various factors.
If you're already getting around 25-30 lakhs . 35% is a decent hike.
The post you see on LinkedIn and other platforms are probably the people who have CTC less than 10 Lakhs
Most importantly, this depends on what position you have applied for. If this is for project management/scrum master or business analyst. Don't expect more than 30%
That's not true in the case of Business Analysts are paid at par with developers. I agree that if you are below 10L, it is easier to get 100-150%. Getting 30-35% is good if you are above 20L.
I was in the 15L bracket and was able to easily get 80% on it without any difficult negotiation.
You question would be clearer if you share your yoe and current salary.
if you are working for lower pacakge than market standards...on switch hikes would be high.
used to happen earlier also

These are people will very low packages, why is their percentage bothering you? Check your trajectory and evaluate accordingly.
I agree with what EY1 had mentioned. Also, all the huge hike you see are for specific nice skills right now. From a BA point of view even though you have very good domain exposure don't expect much, I have not seen companies trying to match the standard as well leave alone hike more than 70%. At 20+ CTC level hike of 40% is decent enough

Jump to product management if you are so concerned about money but don't have concerns with a convoluted wlb
Thanks for your advise!
I don't want to lose touch on hands-on side. I will try to switch to data science may be.
