I made about 150k my first year. I did have a sales background so I caught on pretty quickly. 500k is more feasible if you are working for yourself. I worked for a large agency for several years and I would say only 5 or so out of 100 recruiters made that. Now once you are doing it for say 5-7 years at an agency, you could get there if you were really good and working really hard. I would say most solid recruiters working for an agency will settle in about about 300k or so a year after a few years in if they consistently work. It's a great career if you can find joy in it. It's not for everyone. If you don't love it, you won't be successful.
