Look at Wealth Management roles at other banks and Stagecoach
It’s totally worth it if you have 5 year’s management experience you should not wait one year you should pursue the primier banker role. Good luck
I was recently approached by a recruiter for this role as well and I can say it’s good to have the FINRA certifications because it opens doors for other jobs. Do it and if you don’t like it you can always go to another company.
Depends on your experience truly. Premier Banking includes having brokerage licensure and experience with Affluent/HNW Clientle. The norm that I have experienced is that either you’re hired into the role from a competing firm or you have to go through the other banking roles first. Premier is a few rungs up from personal.
This is true. I was a premier banker and was hired after my brokerage licenses had expired (Smith Barney/Morgan Stanley). I tested through WF’s process, got my licenses back, and then became a glorified appointment setter for another advisor 4.5 hours away. He would come in every month if I had set appointments with enough net worth. I left the lunacy and started my own firm and took many of the clients from WF.
What was the offer for personal banker at wells?
When I was approached by Wells Fargo I was told my base would be higher than that I’m assuming since I already have the FINRA licenses. JP Morgan Chase pays well if you have them too so you can always get them and transfer over here your base pay will be at 70ish plus commission so maybe high 90s to low 100s
Hey there, I’m a Premier banker. It’s good if you have a great chemistry with your assigned FA. However, it really depends on your traffic at the branch as well. What do you want to know specifically
Wells is all about the “client experience”. There are no sales goals. You will be micromanaged more than likely. However, if you’re in a good branch and have a good financial advisor partner your total comp can be above 100k. Good premier bankers they often recruit into the financial advisor role.
