I was in the same boat. Just started a new role after 6 months. Honestly, leverage your network. I reached out to anyone and everyone who worked in a similar space as me to get referrals. That was the only way I was landing even preliminary HR interviews.
Hi. I was also laid off in May and I just got my first job offer last week since the lay off. I’d say upskill, keep learning, find a side hustle(preferably something you love) to help you get your mind off the rejection emails but keep applying.
Ohhh my bad.
I know you are still job hunting and am sure you are qualified for the job role you are seeking for
Though as far I know your resume is the first thing while seeking for a new job opportunity and am so confident about helping you out as an experience Hr manager and Professional Resume Writer, to help you craft a compelling resume that will surely enhance your visibility to the hiring manager.
It is like giving your resume a VIP pass to Hiring Managers.
I truly console the fact you are still job seeking
I am so sorry for that actually
Was laid off in early November. Lots of rejected applications, but then finally got an interview. That first interview went well, called me for a second interview, which went even better than the first, but got a standard rejection e-mail a few days later from the recruiter. Recruiter then ghosted me.
Was really discouraged but I took a chance and reached out to one of the interviewers on LinkedIn who said the interviews were great, and they wanted to hire me, but couldn't right now. Few weeks later same hiring manager hit me up on LinkedIn and said a position opened up and I should apply. Got hired shortly thereafter. Point to this (way too long of a post) is, don't give up, keep grinding, and good things WILL happen. 🙂
