They’re doing big things, jk they aren’t

Energy BBDO is dead. BBDO NY is on its last breath.
I liked the recent Pepsi chase cars work, but I haven’t seen much else from them in a while.
Pepsi + Food = Good is a 20 year old strategy whose results are dubious at best. It’s a failure of smart planning that they’re still trying to “persuade” people to drink Pepsi with food. Coke’s “Open Happiness” positioning lives on a much higher level and doesn’t get encumbered by foisting a rational argument on people that Pepsi tastes better with food.
it takes a little time, there were a lot of bad decisions made that compounded for years, it's being untangled. I apologize for not being snarky. there are some great people there, we should want BBDO to do well.

Why? Because you work there?
Because from the outside, it sure seems like BBDO stands for making mediocre, lowest common denominator work under a monopolistic structure that will depress creative salaries and hurt the bargaining power of all creatives while enriching execs such as yourself.
Or, as you’ve weakly branded it, “doing big things.”
