Finished work before 10 PM today. Early day!
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.
Dare I get excited?

Yes if it's all about money and brand and growth. No if u have kids and need more time at home
LMAO 20% yearly bonuses 😂😂😂🤣 but yea it’s almost definitely a better place than Sapient.
You will likely not get 20% bonus. It's up to 20% bit unless you give up your life it will likely be between 10-15%.
Ok, makes a lot of sense. Infact, "how much of my life I may have to give up" is why I am still on the fence on this one.. lol
Getting only a 10% joke moving from EY to Deloitte. Manager level - 155k currently - D is giving 175.. seems low was expecting closer to 200k
18k increase on current ain't that high. I just got an offer from Uncle D raising by 35k, going from SA here to SC there. My bonus did get capped at upto 10% per the offer letter.
Just joined from PwC, and received a great raise but my bonus is also capped at 10%. Hoping that's just for the first year
Also don't bank on that 20%... that's your target amount. It will depend on how well the firm met sales and your personal performance rating. But still good name and bump.
@Deloitte 🐠 anyone know what % a typical annual raise is for non-promo year Consultants?
(Sorry to take away from your post OP)
5% to 8%
Thanks everyone. Anything I should be aware of culture wise?
D4 - agree with what SM1 is saying. I’m an experienced hire but am deep into my area and generally garner lots of respect for my experience. I’m a lot older than most SC’s though so that may also have a role
It depends on your personal situation but generally Deloitte is better for pay and prestige, but requires more travel and longer hours.
Don’t do it, it’s a trap..
