Recently selected as SRE in Cisco for security business group (umbrella team) need to know how's the work life balance in SBG.

Team just applied for a TS Clearance (defense agency). Trying to assess if it makes sense to wait till the clearance comes through (6 months to a year?) before I job hop. I'm hoping to get some clarity on the following:
1. Can my company withdraw or cancel my clearance if I leave right after I secure a TS?
2. In terms of compensation, how much value (% compensation) does a TS clearance have in the DC area? Places I'm considering: AWS, Azure, GCP, Data bricks, Appian etc.

I am currently working at a prod based company as a QA Engineer in a maintenance project. I joined 7 months back. They offerred me an SDET+DevOps role. And all this while I was mostly working on manual. There is no scope and value to automation in this project.

I have an offer from a service based company with 25% hike from my current ctc. They have offered a API automation project.

Is it wise to leave now or should I wait for an year?

Have you all done any certifications related to QA? Is ISTQB foundation + advanced Test Automation Engineer certifications worth the money? Together they’ll cost around 13K
