I have two years of cyber security experience that is mainly focused on vulnerability management and user awareness training. I have recently accepted a job as an IS engineer for 65k but am now thinking about leaving after only two weeks due to the fact that I don’t enjoy working for large companies as you are so segmented. I had one of those VERY nonproductive days today. I think I accomplished maybe an hour of billable work, even though I had a bunch of stuff to do. I just came off a 300 hour month, and unexpectedly got a continuance on a deadline on Wednesday, and it’s like all of my motivation leeched out of me at once.

In an industry full of smart and driven people, I find it helpful to remind myself that I need to run my own race.

I have 7 years experience as a QA engineer in networking domains,to be specific to WiFi/WLAN testing.
I started my career with a 6LPA package,after gaining 2.7 years experience,
Switched to Second company for 9.5LPA .
Switched to a 3rd company (currently working here) which is my dream company for 18.5LPA with a total experience of 5.11 years.
Though I'm happy with my work and company culture, I am not completely satisfied with the current 18.5LPA salary. I always have a feeling I'm underpaid.
