Has anyone made the transition to MBB or Big4 strategy consulting after getting an MBA? If so, how did recruiting view deal advisory experience and how has your transition been? Kind of specific, but worth a shot.

What is the obsession and appeal for MBB among MBA grads? Is it really that amazing - from afar it seems like it may be romanticized (maybe not the right word) among applicants. I know it’s way better than the work I do now, so I’m not knocking MBB at all. It’s super impressive. Maybe a better way to phrase it is that MBA applicants seem to have a fairy tale view of consulting as a whole. I get the impression that people think a job in consulting is a magic ticket anywhere

MBB exits in tech post MBA - is BizOps a good exit? What does the career path look like?

I started a new role about a month ago (exited from T2 consulting) but just got an opportunity to interview with MBB. The resume I sent in is from 3 months back doesn’t reflect this role change. Should I update the firm I’m interviewing with? Or if I get an offer should I explain during the background check process?

What is a reasonable to good package (including equity) breakdown) for a post series c startup (valuation 100-300M) for a MBB exit to a director / at director of Strategy and Operations. Thank you for the help!

Relatively broad question and all else equal, how would M7-T15 programs see a candidate that has had pure gaming industry experience on the business side; and is looking to pivot to IB/VC/MBB to focus on gaming investing/M&A? 4-5 YOE at application. Too niche? Interesting profile that stands out from typical consulting crowd? Thx for the feedback
