BCG final round interview in a week. Any tips on what to expect in a partner level conversation?
- how is it different than the round 1 experience?
- how important is the casing component? I'm doing pretty well, but not perfect. Friends have been eating me 8/10, with the need to improve structure and be more top down in my communication. I'm wondering what I can do to improve that in a week and if that will be a deal breaker on interview day?

What’s the longest time you’ve waited to hear back after conducting your final loop interviews for FAANG Companies??? I finished mine last Thursday & they told me I will get my decision between 9/6 - 9/9.
I feel like this wait is torture!!!!!! I’m also a CW so hoping I get this role so I get converted over to an FTE.

Hi All! I hope you guys are staying safe and healthy.
I am hosting a free workshop for teachers that I thought might benefit you. The workshop is called From Unsettled to Prepared Classroom. I am giving you the tools you need to feel organized and ready for this upcoming school year. There is so much that is still uncertain and it can be super daunting to start to plan for a year like this one.

For a new position? Is it private or a government position?
I'd say thats fast if a state position. I had a job where they contacted me for 1st round interview 4 months after the job posting closed. Final interviews were 2 or 3 weeks after that due to winter holiday.
But thats government. They always run slow.
Yes, you’re overthinking it. If they weren’t interested; in an interview it would not have been scheduled. There’s probably 1-2 others in the final interview stage and the company may need to schedule them as well. Depending on how many interviewers and candidates - it may take a couple of weeks. Also, if you’re meeting with a higher level leader, it might be a while until you get on their calendar. Did you pick up on any red flags during your other interviews?
True! And not really any red flags— the first 2 interviews were pretty standard and moved quickly.
I haven’t made it to the final round in a while other than the interviews for my current job… but those moved fast and didn’t have a panel interview.
So I guess it makes sense. Was just worried I may not be a top candidate if I’m scheduled later. But maybe others were too.
You are provably overthinking it - trying to coordinate internal schedules is a nightmare and they probable have to prioritize business and workload over hiring.

I wouldn’t read into it. I interviewed for a role with Vanguard, it took two weeks for the initial interview, three weeks after for the 90 minute behavioral assessment, then another two weeks for a final.
Honestly, I accepted another role in the amount of time it took for them to get their act together, and the compensation plan for the role I accepted was more advantageous.
But a word of advice, never stop interviewing, never stop applying until you have inked the offer letter and have cleared background. You don’t want to end up where you left off. An added benefit is that you get more interview practice and experience, plus you are learning about different firms and roles that may be more aligned to what you desire.
Best of luck!
Cheers!

Wouldn’t read into it, the hiring manager could be on vacation or a conference, etc
If it’s a final interview, they may have top candidates they wanna prioritize. If they dont work out, then they’ve slotted you in as a backup. It happened to me and they ended up canceling saying the role was already filled :/
