The amount of jobs close to your age? So you’re 25 and had 25 different jobs? Yeah that’s a problem.
I’m almost 50 and I had one job for 16 years, then one for 12, now one for four. Started work at 18, three jobs over 32 years.
So yeah, I’d see you trending the wrong direction
Jobs have been retail, restaurant, landscaping, maintenance, management. I agree that with jobs not all are "the job" but it becomes tiring to constantly hear "stay in your lane, that's not part of your job description, you've upset someone for being gay" (last one was a reason why a manager let me go but used some other excuse to let me go). But than later that week, I'm being told to do the things I wasn't supposed to do or expected to do. Even now, I'm assisting the manager and taking on some of their tasks that is not part of my position without increase of pay or recognition besides "He knows what to do and will help you out." It's frustrating seeing how jobs are compared to legit companies that have an actual career in mind.
You have to show that you are at minimum stable and can take rejection and criticism. Not staying anywhere long enough to get actual experience is defining. Keep in mind as long as you live you will get older. And the older you get the harder it is to find employment. Get somewhere, and have a seat for awhile. It goes like this,
with age comes wisdom. Don't wait till you're 45 or nearly 60 with that same mentality. Because, should've, could've. would've will be banging at your door before you know it! Get somewhere and get still. Too many jobs like that is a red flag. You'll soon be unemployment. Unless you're running your own business, don't keep doing that to yourself. And at running your own business, you'll be bankrupt when it's all said and done. Folks won't deal with you if you can't or don't want to take interest in or learning to disagree or can't take rejection. Those are defining moments in business. It's simple.
Honestly, most of the jobs I've left were due to either medical or family emergencies that were things that I was harassed by. Some parts were just due to my sexual orientation. Though most jobs I've been at, I've put in 100% and end up doing more outside what is expected of my hired position without recognition or increase in salary. I'm to the point where I'm tired of just having a job and want a career, but it's starting to seem like I need to go to school for a degree for nothing that doesn't matter. For a semi-recent example, I left one of my jobs due to harassment on my physical abilities failing me. After taking a break, I was informed by a colleague that I was no longer allowed a break or lunch unless approved by the manager (same one that harassed and teased me for getting weaker). I walked out that day, found out a month later I had a brain tumor that was comparable to a large orange (their comparison). So though I may leave when jobs take advantage, I can work hard and find solutions to make the work team more enjoyable for all I had worked with, and with all the jobs I have had, I've implemented many of those things I've learned and it has helped in each job. Sorry for the long reply.
