Yeah, I think almost everyone gets burnt out at some point, especially recently. I recommend applying for the positions you know you want, even if you think you're not qualified. Also, step away from the search after maybe an hour or so a day to avoid future burn out.
I just casually looked for jobs and applied, it’s good to have a resume that you really like and an easily customizable cover letter for different companies/roles. Don’t invest too hard in being super organized or having a god tier plan just apply where you want and network where you really want
It definitely is possible! Perhaps try applying to 1 or 2 positions a day and only look for a an hour at a time. Also, networking has gotten me a few leads.
It can be exhausting. Set a goal to apply to a couple positions a day & network in at least some way every day. Also, make time for things that make you happy because when you feel good about your life, it will shine through when you apply & make you an even more appealing candidate!
It's bad when you need to practice quiet quitting before you even find a job!
Thank you all for the advice!
Yes it really is. Unfotunately searching for a job can be quite dawnting and seem impossible. Its a numbers game for sure.
Yes, totally normal. I've been job hunting for almost 6 months now. I'm burned out to the max.
It is possible! I'm sorry to hear that. One thing to consider is that you are also competing with thousands of applicants. What type of job are you looking for?
I’m looking for an entry level financial analyst position, but I’m open to options that will lead to a financial analyst position.
