Idk about the others here but I'm 3 years in and have never made a mistake
Lol - these guys just aren’t paying close enough attention to catch their own mistakes. Everything/everyone has an error rate > 0
It’s normal to make mistakes. It’s gonna happen, just make sure you’re learning from them. I’m 5 years into my career, and I still make mistakes. Don’t be so hard on yourself. Learn from them and move forward.
More mistakes you make, more you will learn, the better off you’ll be. Learn to embrace mistakes! Unless we’re talking about like crazy detrimental ones (even those here and there is ok). ESP so early on in your career,, you have a longgg way to go. Careers are like 30, 40, 50 years long. Don’t lose sleep over it. Promise it won’t matter in the future 😊.
So long as you learn from them, you're all good. You have to keep closer attention to the details if you don't want to keep making the same ones. At that point, it's just recklessness.
Yea of course! There are so many nuances in process at a new company and especially so if you’re in a new industry
Definitely! It's only been a month so it's understandable since you're still finding your way around. You'll eventually get the hang of it. Don't be afraid to ask for help!
Definitely, you are human just like the rest of us and we all make mistakes. No one is perfect!!!! The thing to take away is that we learn from our mistakes and we grow with them!!! That's what makes us better at our jobs! Keep up the great work!
I work as a trading analyst and I’ve been at my job for a year now. Every time I train someone new I explain to them that making mistakes when instructing trades is normal. I have totally been there and made tons of mistakes when I started my job. What is important though is that you learn from your mistakes and just strive to do better next time. I was so ready to quit at month 4/5 but I’m glad I didn’t. I learned from my mistakes became even more detailed oriented. My accuracy improved & as time passed I took on harder trade files. Now my boss tells me that I am his top performer on the team & I got promoted to analyst. He even nominated me for this award during Q2 which is the highest award our business line gives out. It feels extremely rough when you make mistakes but it’s a good thing because it leads to growth. Hope this helps! :)
This is extremelyyyyyyy normal! I was in a similar position when i switched jobs. You learn through reps and you’re only 3 months into your professional career. Don’t sweat it
Sorry, I meant 3 years** updated my post. One month in my new job, 3 years overall.
