Nope. I had to pay 2500 out of my pocket. They do tuition reimbursement only once you start school. But you need to have the conversation with your manager first. Gmat not covered regardless.

Full time - you need to leave the firm - MS wont cover a dime. Part time - 10K a year

How much is the tuition reimbursement at MS for business school? Is that for full time or part time MBA programs?

My husband and I are looking to buy our first home. We live in HCOL, so the loan is most likely going to be jumbo. In your experience, is it better to go with bigger banks or smaller lenders for jumbo loans? We have enough cash to put 20% down, but would prefer not to do that and go with 15% down instead - do jumbos typically go with 15% down and no PMI? We also have an option to borrow from 401k or to sell 1/3 of our investments to raise cash if PMI is too high. What would you do? Any advice?

Biglaw first year deferred from September to late January with a $10k advance. I had to incur $11,000 in credit card debt to live, & right when I started work, had a medical emergency that ended up costing me another $3,500. My paychecks have been smaller due to paying back the advance and prioritizing maxing out my 401k and HSA (my credit card debt was interest free). It was depressing working these hours to mostly just pay needs and my debt. Today I paid it all off! Woooooo! I feel so free.

Another analyst (male indian) starting the same time as I is annoying the heck out of me. He never shares information, and always just repeats what I said in group messages, emails, zoom meetings (and prompts me to go first). He even stalks my calendar and compares the schedule overlap with our manager’s to figure out my meetings and schedule🙃. He also pushed me under the bus (he didn’t do a task even though i reminded him, yet he said I didn’t do it either together). What should I do

My intern’s writing is good, but he is somewhat dumb and so not tech-savvy. He was trying to make charts from tables with numbers in text format today and asked me to help out. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Should I take the initiative to mentor this kid or just let it be? He is in grad school. I can’t sit around and teach him these basic things, though. His attitude is too lax as well. I asked him to fix the excel, and he was like, he’ll send it tomorrow. And that was 5 minutes of work. 😑 Or am I being too judgmental?
