After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Is it okay to do the background check process if I don't plan to join EY GDS? I have received better offer from another organization and I'm planning to join them. I still have 2 months left in my notice period. I'm holding EY's offer just to be on the safe side and planning to inform them towards the end of my notice period. If I complete the background check process and not join EY, will they blacklist me from exploring opportunities in future? EY

Economy is in a downturn
Most companies are in a hiring freeze
Be grateful you’re even landing interviews in the midst of all this

The market is very tight this year. A lot of firms have limited slots and very high acceptance rate of return offers from summer interns
It's the recession. Companies are looking to reduce risk by hiring less and cutting costs.
