Is it safe to share the offer letter from one company with another? The offer letter clearly states that it contains confidential information and should not be shared.

It really depends on the purpose, if your current company is planning to retain you, then you can show offer letter as proof for expected compensation. Also you can show offer letter for better negotiation with another company for higher offer. Anyway you are not going to loose any by showing the offer you have.
