I asked myself the same question 23 years ago, if you ask me I tell you that it was worth it, each of the moments in combat and each of the moments in which I was able to share those experiences with my family was worth it.
If your family belongs to the army, you will have someone who understands you when things that are going happen to you. I do not want to say that the road is smoother, but you have someone to trust in what happens to you.
If I could go back in time, I would tell myself from 10 years ago that war is just war and to follow my own dreams, not the dreams of my relatives, that is, I felt very patriotic but after living what I lived I can't find it so necessary.
It's not worth it, not for that reason alone, to be part of the army you have to have commitment and love for your country first of all, if you don't have any of those things you will be in the army for the wrong reasons and you will always wonder if you did right.
I think that if it is worth it, family customs are things that must be maintained and respected in this way good customs are maintained in the family, but at the same time, you must feel the call to be part of the militia you must have a vocation.
Depends on which branch you’re considering 😇
