Do you know anyone who has served in more than one branch of the service? It doesn't seem very common but I'm just curious. Thanks

It's not that common but it's not uncommon either. Many people enlist in the army and then go to the navy, or the air force.

I had no idea this could be done, for whatever reason. Thanks so much for the enlightenment!

Yes, I do know someone who has served in more than one branch of the military. His name is Joe, and he served in the Army for eight years before transitioning to the Air Force where he spent another four years.

I have a friend who during his time in two branches of service was involved in a variety of operations including humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts as well as combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.

God bless these people! I made it through 10 years in the army and I don't think I could've joined any other branches, the army was enough!
