Is MBB laying off professionals (more than performance - based exits)?

Wow! What a day! What type of company starts layoffs right before the holidays? Lost my job this morning and I am stressed out. Is there any chance of finding a new job before the holidays? I'm doubting it.

I have a first round interview at Uber and curious to get some perspectives from Uber 🐠. Want to get thoughts on the recent layoffs, current culture, and perceived future of the company. Anything to help set comp expectations would be helpful as well. Thanks ahead of time!
