In the US the only people that say they work for ~Monitor~ are the Strategy/M&A people that want to look even more pretentious than the rest of Deloitte
There is no official designation the way that Parthenon does at EY or S& does at PWC

I would not recommend admitting you worked for Monitor pre-merger.
They were so broke they could not pay the rent on their office (and the nonsense they sold clients had been irrelevant for a long time. Porter’s 5 forces was always a hustle).
Deloitte is a company that understands how to make money and is a much stronger client with proven results.

They are bad👎

Sorta. The goal was to fold it into our strategy practice. So there is still branding, templates and people who say they work at Monitor but it’s mostly going to be people who came over during the acquisition and are serving old Monitor clients.
There’s no official designation anywhere afaik, it’s just Strategy & Transactions for offering portfolio. All of the Monitor stuff is external.
This is US, in other countries Monitor is still a more formal presence.
A lot of people put Monitor because they are in Strategy. All of Strategy used to be branded Monitor. That doesn’t mean they ever had anything to do with THE Monitor Group.

Outside of the US member firm Monitor is a separate brand in exactly the same way as Strategy& and EY-P is.
It’s no longer an entity in canada. Just a brand.
They have separate events and socials than the rest of the firm. At least at my member firm
What do u mean by ‘separate official ‘
Like Strategy&, does the branding exist as a true team and branch in the organization or do you guys just randomly slap the label on some projects? I’m curious too. I always felt like it was just a label that they put on some projects and certain people work more on those projects than others. It doesn’t seem like an established separate team like EY-P or S&. This is in the USA market
It’s very unclear

I thought they got rid of it and then they brought it back. There was an influx of people changing their LinkedIn profiles a year or two ago
Yes, it’s currently a brand not a separate entity in the US for Strategy folks, and not all of them ex Monitor group.
