I’ve never had a job where I met the experience requirements. It doesn’t matter if you’re past the screening phase and interviewing.
Makes me feel better haha. Thanks!
Not wrong. Just might be a tough adjustment for some
Yeah I am a bit concerned I won’t be able to handle the role and demands of it.
Chief
Did you lie about your experience? Or did they deem your skillset appropriate for the role regardless?
Nothing wrong with accepting an offer that you interviewed for honestly, eff that impostor syndrome noise
Fair point. Just want to be certain of that point. Don’t want to end up accepting an offer and have a very tough time adapting to a role I definitely should not be in.
As long as you’re comfortable with having a difficult adjustment period, then nothing wrong with it. If the hiring company thinks you can do it, you more than likely can handle it.
Appreciate that advice. Yeah, I guess better to focus on what I can do rather than what they think I can do, if that makes sense.
