TCS is the worst company one can be in.
Cheap mindset management cares more about timesheet, wfo, forceful mandatory trainings, imposing strict restrictions on laptop, access to personal docs only via vpn,no employee well being no salary hikes nth at all.90% projects filled with freshers coz they cost less.No WLB for good dedicated hard working employees as they are punished with more and more work, leaves rewards mostly for people who don’t work. But no issues kyunki job security hai 😂

Depends on boss and company culture
^this
lol no
What’s the reality
Really depends on the team and where you're in the product cycle. If you're launching a drug and your role is Marketing, you'll have a ton of work, but even then the number of hours really vary on your boss. I've seen people who work 9-6 during their launch year, but I've also known people who work until 10pm preparing for their launches because their boss keeps spinning things around last minute. If you're in a support function (e.g., Insights, Analytics, CI) rather than Marketing, then your hours will definitely be better, regardless of whether you're in a launch or not. If you're in BD, well, it again depends on whether your team is pursuing a hot asset or not.
Depends on the company, but yes it is typically good WLB at Manager and above
ZS - typically is no longer the norm with all the layoffs and lean teams
It depends on function and brand. I’ve enjoyed some under 40hr jobs, but my current job easily pushes 60 on average
It depends on the TA/ product you’re working on as well - post launch or early launch will have a higher work load than established products / LOE for example
