Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

We live in west Richardson and it is an easy commute to our oldest kids school in Addison. The houses in Canyon Creek, Prairie Creek, Richardson Heights and the Reservation/JJ Pearce area are still in great neighborhoods and the Richardson city services are much better than Dallas.
I used to live just east of there (condo between Preston Hollow and 75). It’s a nice area, though as with any area closer to downtown traffic is high. You pay more per sq ft of course, with generally smaller lot sizes. I moved (to a house, was tired of HOA dealings) to Far North Dallas and love it. Less traffic (comparatively), bigger lots, still close enough that getting to the arts downtown is pretty easy.
Hmmm - Are $300k-$500k homes a bad thing? Many young professionals can’t afford a home at all.
high end. Mark cuban and other notable people live there. I personally would do castle hills Carrollton
That’s more like midway hollow, it’s a very different area from Preston Hollow. You also really don’t want anything on the left side of Marsh if you’re looking in that area. Addison might actually be a better place to
I just moved to DFW as well. I personally like Plano and Frisco.
If you’re sending your kids to one of the northern Dallas private schools (Greenhill, Jesuit, St Marks/Hockaday, ESD, etc), then yes live in Preston hollow
Cannot afford both private school and living in actual Preston Hollow lol...around Preston Hollow might be doable
Check out Prosper
Yes, yes, yes. Although a 300-500k home there is probably a tear down in that there is something seriously wrong with it
Lived here all my life in areas of Dallas South of LBJ. Mainly Preston Hollow. I thought the best area all around was Midway Hollow. So convenient to Toll Road and not congested like the Park Cities. It’s lower priced than P.H., nice lots and in the middle of private school heaven. Of course, the prices went up in the last 2 years since I lived there I agree not to go West of Mzrdh
