Is there a hiring freeze and job cuts at big 4 owing to recession

Curious to learn if any institutes are doing coverage analysis for there clinical trials? If yes, are you utilizing third party or doing it in house? I am considering opening a consultancy with coverage analysis as a service line and would like to scope the market demand for it. Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated!

Help, I made a mistake! A recruiter emailed me and I agreed to a phone interview. I did little research on the company and none on the salary… (I know my mistake) One of the first questions I was asked was about compensation to which I answered 45k-50k. (to quote the recruiter this is a “upper level entry level job”) the recruiter told me the base is $45,500. I got home, did research, and found the company paying the same position 55k on Glassdoor. Is it too late to ask for money?

I just completed 1 year at my company post graduation - big corporate international firm. My performance review was stellar (top 10%) and I got promoted. However new compensation is statistically average per industry surveys for this position/location. I was expecting above average compensation given above average performance. Any tips on how I should approach this?

My in person onboarding was on 10th October. I went for the same and attended the sessions as well. I didn't have my relieving letter so they postponed my onboarding to 17th October. But I didn't receive any onboarding email. Also on 1st November 120 days of my offer will be completed. As per the TCS policy I have to join within 120 days. Recruiter and HR are not responding. Should I get a backless stool or a real chair for when I sit? I've never had a backless stool, so worried that I'll have nothing to lean against. Money & space only allow for one or the other, so please help me decide.
I do need to work on better posture either way and I'm hoping standing during 6 hours of meetings will fix that. I do tend to sit when I'm in the flow and cranking out deliverables tho. Leaning slightly towards chair. But the stool is so cute! Thoughts?
