What are all the rounds of interviews in Deloitte USI? I had going through Technical and HR. Was expecting there would be some salary discussion during HR round, but wasn't any. Although they took my current CTC structure. I was told Talent team deals with salary and not the manager who contacted the HR round. Can someone please let me know what can I expect further? "Dear XYC,
I wanted to follow up on the status of my employment application. Since interviewing ___ weeks ago, I have not received any communications or news regarding the results."
After they inevitably send a template rejection email, you can respond with:
"Thank you for getting back to me. In the future, please respond to candidates in a timely manner. Additionally, please note that 'ghosting' on candidates who have gone through final rounds of interviews is unprofessional and disrespectful of the candidate's time. Kind regards."
Agreed with the first part, always good to follow up if some time has passed and you didn’t hear back.
I don’t think sending that kind of email educating them about the good manners after a rejection is a good move. You’d portray yourself as a bitter person and just substantiate their point that you are not the right candidate.
Many thanks for the suggestions!

I don’t expect to hear back just cuz I think companies prefer to keep things open, so they could come back to you maybe a month later with an offer.
It’s possible they can’t let you know until that other candidate is hired, meaning fully onboarded from a HR perspective and has shown up for work on the first day. Only then is the position filled. But things can go wrong along the way - their first choice gets a better offer, or fails a background check, drug check etc. if that happens then the company might revisit your resume.
All arguments are valid, but there has to be some generic verbiage lawyers or HR can come up with to let such “in the running” candidates know that they are still in the race and that they will let them know once they have something definitive. Having a person go through 7-8 rounds and dropping them like a hot potato seems very disrespectful. I guess you don’t have much choice because you need them more than they need you.
Thank you all for your positivity and for your guidance.
