How do I get these car warranty calls to stop? Change my number I've had for 20 years??? What has worked for you? I've added myself to Do Not Call, etc.
SPHR exam- has anyone ever been “randomly selected” for an application audit? This just happened to me and the sheer amount of effort that is going to go into collecting all the documents almost makes me not want to follow through. Since I didn’t finish undergrad, they’re asking for a copy of my high school diploma or transcript and that itself is going to be an absolute nightmare to get hold of. Guess I’m not really looking for a solution here, just venting.
This week's tool highlight is Vidyard. If you want a way to connect with your clientele during those WFH times think about using video emails.
I will tell you that your first videos will be extremely awkward to you but keep going. There are stats out there showing video emails have more engagement than text alone.
Vidyard is a cost-effective way to explore using video emails. Swing by the website and try a video response or two to your customers.

Does JP Morgan match the offer to retain employees, and if yes do they do it immediately before the NP ends or do they revise it in next appraisal cycle.
Started in top 5 defense manufacturer. After 18 years moved to federal consulting. Now after 27 cumulative years experience supporting various government like orgs, considering an opportunity to exit to an internal transformation role in biotech/pharma. How challenging would this adjustment be?
If you have to get out of your current gig, where do you turn? Internal recruiters, external headhunters, contact people you want to work for? Is there a method to the madness? Or just do it all?
General question: Is there any room in corporate America for real, actionable DE&I discussions and initiatives? I've observed so many corporate versions become an advertising strategy (SM posts, diversity reports) without doing the actual work (increasing representation in senior leadership, salary analyses, having an effective reporting system for bias). Is this just how it is?
Am I the only one who's canceled their Netflix subscription? It seems like all the good shows are done and it's just a bunch of trash TV nowadays.

Vent: Honestly I’m just kind of pissed at the last three years. I followed all the rules. Stayed safe. I became an orphan, lost my job, and lost some friends. I landed an amazing job but can’t really travel for clients anymore (which I enjoyed)- thanks COVID. Now I make more money but everything seems to cost more. Buying a home seems way outside the realm of possibility and if I hear one more boomer tell me I just need to invest more- I’m going to lose it. Just need some positivity.
I’m in a month-to-month lease through early Feb. Will sign an 18mo lease in UWS after. Should I wait to sign for Feb or find something now for Jan? I imagine prices will continue to decrease but also wonder if I can still have enough negotiating power to justify going in earlier. Any thoughts?
NCLEX has stopped testing during the crisis. How do we safely get students out there to help?

My organization is currently going through a lot of growth and, with that, team planning. As I’m putting together hiring plans, I’m curious how other content and creative teams are set up. Would love to hear about your setup!
Some background: we are a little more than 300 employees currently. I have three in-house content managers on my team who are also responsible for different content types. We also have three in-house designers who are each responsible for different assets. Thank you!
Has anyone jumped from Tax to Cybersecurity or Risk? I’m a JD in tax and want to make a career pivot!
What would be a good reason to give when declinig a second interview? I withdrew my application after the first round because I thought the position/team was not a good fit for me, and the head of recruiting team emailed me asking why I withdrew my application. I don’t want to say anything that might sound harsh or put any blame on the company by saying it’s not a good fit. Is there a good, polite reason I could give other than “decided to pursue other direction” or “circumstances have changed”?
Any suggestions (or books or articles) around taking startups from smaller (50-100) to the 300-500 range? Would love to read more about challenges that usually come up at this stage and how people navigate them. I just joined a series C and want to be prepared to navigate things.
