How should i look at this role? Am I being given same role or lesser role or higher?

I currently work in Tech Consulting on the software implementation side with 2 YOE. I don’t see myself long term in this area and am interested in pivoting to strategy and potentially business school along the way. 2020 grad M&A/PE Associate in LCOL area thinking about moving to a ECVC/M&A boutique. I generally like the work I do and the people I work with, but I really don’t like the hours and the constant late nights and weekends. Currently on pace for 2250. Boutique I have been eyeing has billable hour requirement of 1500-1600 and comes with a 20-25% paycut. Is this a stupid idea and should I grind it out until I can move in house? Will this ruin my opportunities down the road?

Currently an ACA holder. Feel like accounting/audit may not my thing and doing CFA could help me out in more analysis and strat & ops roles. Is it worth getting it? Also, if lets say I only pass level 1 or don’t go to next level due to some reason. Does it still make sense to pursue it ?

I'm an investment banker and in late stages of a couple CorpDev roles of Fortune 200 companies. Both roles report to Head of CorpDev. I would be interested to understand the typical career progression. Assuming Head of CorpDev will stay in position for the next 5-10 years, what is the expectation of upward mobility then? Is it more common to progress through jumping around to different companies?

Has anyone successfully managed to move from a niche in-house practice to a more generalist role? If so, can you provide any helpful tips to transition? I have started down a specialty that I fear will limit my mobility in the future and am looking for tips on how to not be pigeon-holed.

I received an offer from big 4 with 60% hike. My managers wants to retain and I asked them to match if you want me to be retained.
Now I got a call from GPM yesterday. He used harsh words like "being greedy" "selfish" etc and offered me 30% in the end.
I politely declined but he asked me to reconsider as he said "it would be unfair for the org for you to leave so soon."

Let me know a proper response.
