The title has intrinsic value…

Funny too because some legit would get paid shit just for the title. Seems to be the idea here.

Try to find their company website and see if they have that job opening.

Looking for some advice: I am extremely unhappy in my current role (literally just had a breakdown and cried for a good 30 minutes) and I want to leave. I’ve tried to switch groups internally to try something different but always receive pushback from my leadership. I haven’t been able to find a role externally yet and I’m not 100% sure what I really want to do for work. Any advice at all? I’m really stuck and not sure what to do.

Hello all,
I'm a Frontend developer with around 3 yrs of experience currently working in a product based company.
(HTML, CSS, JS, REACT, REDUX, AWS, NODEJS, EXPRESS, BOOTSTRAP, UIKIT, GIT, BITBUCKET, JIRA, etc)

I don't know why but my luck is not favouring me😔.
I'm trying very hard to switch but even after applying at numerous places - either getting rejected at HM round or not getting call at all.

Hey Media Monks LDN. You’ve posted or reposted the same Sr. Creative role online for four months now. Are you telling me with all of the top notch creatives out of work that you have yet to fill this role? If the role has been filled or hiring for this position has been put on hold, take the post down or stop renewing it. Cheers.

In the recruiter interview I wasn’t asked where I live. The job is with a huge sports wear company in Los Ángeles and I live in Miami. Does not living in the same city not make the hiring manger want to hire you even though I would move to the jobs location ASAP? And if they ask where I live do I say I live in their city? Even though I don’t and it’s a contract position.

I get so annoyed when partners keep assigning me non-billable work to do and then I get scolded because of my billable hours… I’m still doing my job when I’m doing “non-billable” work I shouldn’t be penalized at the end of the year for being a junior associate who can’t say no to people.

Basically I'm a S3 who is hoping to be promoted to manager in six months.

I have my CPA and have gotten positive feedback but I still worry that I'm going to be held back.

It's simple. If I'll be a manager, I'll stay. Otherwise, it's time for me to move on.

I feel like I'm more in the dark especially with our firm cutting mid year roundtables.

How soon do you usually let the teams know that you are looking for other opportunities? Do you let them know when you are interviewing or when you have an offer in hand? Assuming you have a good relationship with the team.

So Market is really hot obviously. I am wondering if it looks really bad if someone changes a job too often? I had two jobs since I left EY the first one was for 2 years, and the second one lasted 4 months but i switched a job with a better pay. I am in 3 months in but the there is a couple of great opportunities with better comp. Traditionaly, I am aware that it’s no good to change jobs too often…

This might have been already asked so apologies in advance, but has anyone gone back to public/advisory from industry? Or should I persue advisory first and then private accounting if it doesn’t seem like a good fit?

Should I go or should I avoid tech now?
