It’s been 3 months on the bench. I spent 2 years in O2C, which wasn’t my domain, though I was hired by Deloitte for a treasury role. Even after raising this, I was moved to another misaligned role, so I stepped away. I’m now actively applying for FP&A Financial Analyst roles but haven’t had success yet. I’d really appreciate any referral or project opportunity, especially within Deloitte, as I urgently need a role aligned with my experience.

Guilt and shame about working in a legal position for years where, instead of using my law degree (was supposed to do legal work per the job posting), I served as a personal assistant to my boss/did nothing for maybe half the time. Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

Should I expect any specific questions during an introduction call with a recruiter? I have a call setup with a BSG recruiter and just wondering if I should prepare for any interview type questions?

My total is different from post-grad different from manager titles. Some companies consider manager title to determine YOE for comp which didn’t make sense.

I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?
