M1 FAAS salary at EY in office like Atlanta?
Hello 🐟🎏
When will be the retention bonus will be paid if a candidate joined TCS in the middle of the financial year. I.e September'22... Will that be paid on next year's September'23 Month only after completing an year in TCS?
And will the Retention bonus will also be considered as taxable income of the the current year taxes(2022-23)?
Looking for valuable suggestions!!!

I can't really understand your question, but in general YOE, and more specifically years of relevant experience, sets your level.
For example, if a firm considers manager to be the standard level for someone with 8-10 YOE, then if you otherwise meet the qualifications of the job but just have 5 YOE, you normally wouldn't be considered for a M position, but if you have 10 YOE then you'd likely be considered for it.
If a firm has pay cohorts (e.g. M1, M2, etc), then YOE can also play into where you fall in the cohort ranking, such as you coming in as a M3 if you have 10 YOE as in the aforementioned example. If the firm doesn't have cohorts and just has bands, then YOE often helps set your position in the band.
There is also typically either a formal or informal expectation of X number of years at level; e.g. you're expected to be a SC for 2 years at a minimum before being eligible for M promo, etc, but that typically is more of an issue once you're in the firm vs an external candidate.
If those don't answer your question, could you clarify your question?
Sorry, I realized I wasn’t clear.
I talked to an employer who used YOE in the incoming role (manager role) as the only relevant experience and dismissed all else.
So that veg the question when someone asks about YOE, why is relevant experience?
Is is my total YOE (10)? YOE after graduation (6)? Or as manager (1)?
And even then many times you are an “acting manager” which wouldn’t be picked up in a title, so how would you convey that?
Let me know if you require further clarity.

Did the job pre grad require college degree? Most times that’s how companies count it but you can always discuss it with HR
