As someone who was without work for a year, you remember the daily low level panic. Even now that I have a role I’m not over the moon about, that memory of pain lets me know that it could be worse
You stay sane by leaving the industry. I’ve got a job at the airport and really enjoy it. See ya advertising 👋

Yeah, must be nice. Some of us don’t have that choice. Nothing is going to pay me what I can make in this industry.
Just know that you’re not alone - and this level of unease is pervasive across all industries (not just marketing). I would try to ride the wave for now and continue putting out feelers!
I wonder if the job postings don't get pulled - once filled
It’s the new reality, for us all. New media and technology means fewer people (especially relatively expensive people) are needed.
First tech came for manual labor, then skilled labor, now it’s skilled white collar jobs.
Many in the same boat. Whether employed or not, it tough out there. But just keep doing your part and applying to new opportunities, and trust the universe will put you where you need to be when you need to be. That’s how I’ve been staying sane. Whatever is meant for you will work out in its own timing.

Feeling the same these days. Been ready to move up for a long while now and frustrating going into everyday knowing how much I've outgrown my role. And knowing no promotion for me. I'm lucky to see 1-2 postings a week that match what I'm looking for.
