Now I got an offer of 16lpa in CTS for Automation Testing role. But once I started talking to friends i got to know that one of my frnd has recently been fired from CTS last year due t unavailability of project. Now i am scared as I m single child of my parent and i have to pay emi and handle my household. Please suggest

Have you seen women wear ties and "masculine"-looking suits to work? Was it accepted by client and team? I've never worn a tie to work, but when I've worn clothing that had a more "masculine" fit either in grad school or some work environments, I've gotten comments and looks, or sometimes asked (or people gossiped) about my orientation. When I wear more "feminine"-looking clothing, I feel more more uncomfortable and awkward. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Joined in Oct for SAP functional. Now one manager who interviewed me reached out that there is a training material developer project which will start on 20 nov for Oracle timeline is 2 months only and SAP projects are in pipeline there was one coming but no guarantee if its final and if it has to come it will be in this month because in dec new projects do not onboard. I have worked on oracle in the past but now am fully into SAP. Should I take this project or wait until Jan for SAP project?

How is bench policy in mphasis. I have heard that if you are more than one month on bench, you will not get salary till you are not assigned with any project. Is it true.

My total YoE is 14 years. I know pretty long stay in TCS. I am happy with the work though I am not a project lead or in some manager position. Got onsite opportunity almost 7 years in support project. But some time seeing my x-teammates who have changed many companies and now in better position, feeling like I would have moved out instead of sticking to 1 company. I am much stressed.. it’s only been 5 months to join Capgemini. I joined in as cyber security consultant with good package.
However, the work I do the tricks, logics and solutions I share with team to apply in the project… all are of no use when discussed with the architect guy. The whole team rely upon the wordings/solutions suggested by him only. It feels like my skill/knowledge and experience is of no use.

I'm feeling incredibly anxious and honestly depressed right now because of work. I had already been feeling demotivated and wanting to leave but I was told on Monday that I was being out on probation for one year (I am not going into detail on this). And now my manager is pressing me about finding a new project role as I have been on the bench for more than a month, and one possible one may require travel. I just want to get out of my job now and hear back from the 10+ applications I have now.

I remember being told there was a max salary increase you could get if you switched agencies. Is that accurate? If so, does anyone know what the % is?
