They hired me promising that I will be working on a project after joining… we don’t have bench as such if no client project then we have plenty internal projects that you might be part of
But now I am im Account pool , no project assigned no client interview scheduled …
Your pool days are counted as Bench only. You get to know after 2 months of no project, when the HR calls you to put papers. They've been doing this since the last 2 years. Inhumane policies.
Got the best offer from them, but took an another offer due to correct situation at LTIM, lucky me 🤣

They hired me for Java skills but after joining they were not having any projects for 2-3 months. After that they randomly assigned some project where there is no use of Java skills.
This happened in 2017 when they started with new brand and logo of LTI.
Its not new, its common in service base org. They even do that with senior folks with 10+exp. They even have limit to as how many clients you can reject etc.
Yes it is a common practice at most service base companies

I have been reached out for a specific - senior cloud Devops engineer role and cleared all the rounds, but the final technical round had a panel, which has zero idea on Devops/AWS cloud and was more into Java and azure and front end skills.
Even he was not ready to take interview and was kinda forced by HR, which i felt was wrong for both of us, he asked random questions from Google on Devops and AWS cloud and was not ready to listen to answers, unless they were one words/one liners.
Such a bad experience, even then the HR said I'm selected and will conduct a HR round for discussion, but it's been 3 weeks now no response from their end.

You are there for slavery.. peace out.. don't expect much.. just remember all the good reputation that you carry for these companies came from old reputation and employee experience.. At this point they will capitalise on that...
Some how the management thinks they will have more work volume in the future.. so they are stacking up resources
Don't expect dream project / dream project structure / dream work life..
If you expect such things you need to be lucky or be lucky in your dreams 😊
If you are bench then try outside plz. I was also on bench in mindtree after returning from ML and they didn't put me in project. They will say u have to search project urself internally and if we failed to get and about end of 3 months bench period they will ask us to resign with same day as last working day.

Recently, I had an interview scheduled. However, during the interview, the HR representative checked my ID and then passed the session over to the technical interviewer. Shortly after, the technical interviewer abruptly disconnected the call, and no one was available to continue.
When I reached out to the HR team, they informed me that the interviewer had to leave due to a personal commitment and assured me the interview would be rescheduled.
It has now been 10 days with no updates, despite my follow-up emails receiving no response.
Everyone, please ensure you invest your time and energy in the right places.
It happens everywhere in India. It happened to me in Infosys, Accenture etc. It's the problem with Indians, who are less professional and f**d up processes.
All of these are the Fault of Weakest Labour Laws in Place. Since, our government fear if they make stringent Labour codes then companies will move away from India and their pockets wont be filled.
