And what kind of questions will be asked..And i already told them that I'm expecting a 100% hike which is 7 lakhs/Annum. Was that too much? Any help would be appreciated ThanksEXL Service
I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

This is how you learn. Study what makes it through. Look for the consistent things they include. Ask your CD what you can do to help improve your ideas to make them stronger.
But, if this keeps happening, also ask if there are any smaller briefs you and your partner can own to get to know the full production process.
Don’t worry about it. You’ll get your shot. Just keep trying and keep growing.
Thanks and you're right, it is helpful to see what others produce when given the same brief. A bit of a painful learning experience at times, but a learning experience all the same!
Normal
Normal. Keep at it. Offer to help any way you can. It will come.
When you’re younger, CDs see everything that is wrong with an idea. When you’re older and more experienced, the opposite takes place. Your ideas definitely will get better as you age but there’s also a huge bias that can be hard to overcome as a jr. Every now and then, my partner and I used to slip our favorite ideas to more senior teams to present them. Those ideas made it in a lot of the time. If they made it in the creative would just say that it was ours and we wanted them to present it, and then we would ask for that senior team to be on the project. Win win, and showed the bias.
Thanks for this. I don't deny that we have a lot to learn, but it is frustrating to see senior teams make it through with ideas that are incredibly similar to ones we've already had killed. Or succeed by taking an approach we've specifically been directed not to take.
That said, I get it. Must be much harder for a CD to pick the gems out of a junior deck that's stuffed with heaps of wrong ideas. Especially when most of the time our pitch is "idk maybe it works, seems cool??" haha.
Coach
I would still be working at GSP if this is what they did rather than hoard the good briefs and throw everyone else at Xfinity.
^^^lol so true (also worked at gsp and if you weren’t a bro who bro’ed out with the bro cd’s, you were on xfinity)
