Trust me you will find something eventually. The hiring process usually ramps up in January after the holiday season. Why don't you take a 1-2 day break from job hunting and do something else you enjoy? You will get some ideas, new strategies or even more confidence to take risks. Take a break before you resume applying like crazy.
Dm if you find something you like.

Thanks for sharing the link. I, too, am actively looking after an unexpected layoff. I have not received ANY calls or interview requests after over 100 applications. These are open positions I seem very qualified for and AI scans on LinkedIn says the same. Baffling. Over 40 must be “grave worthy” in tech. I’m starting to panic after decades of learning, focus and sacrifices, I find I am somehow not even worthy of a screening? Trying my best to forge forward and stay positive! I’m submitting for general consideration as I don’t see anything sales related at this time and reside in FL. Much appreciated!
A lot of people are facing the same challenge with so many applications going unanswered. It’s important to remember that it’s not necessarily about your qualifications. It could just be that the competition is fierce or that the timing isn’t right. Many companies just got back from the holidays and will likely ramp up their hiring until early spring.
Sometimes, it helps to focus on networking too. Reaching out to people on LinkedIn, attending job fairs, or connecting with alumni from your school can open up doors that aren’t advertised online.
Also, if you haven’t already, you might want to take a second look at your resume to ensure it aligns well with the roles you’re applying for. It’s easy to overlook, but small tweaks can make a big difference. There are tools out there, like Jobsolv, that can help you quickly adjust your resume to better match job descriptions, which might give you that extra edge.
Keep at it. Things will turn around soon!
Try to apply on every platform, not only here, and don't keep your choices limited to what you studied, even if it is for dishwasher, apply, at least, is a job. That's what I do, I don't keep my choices limited to what I studied.

I agree with everyone above who said to hang in there. This is a very challenging job market and there just aren't enough real job postings out there. Try to network and get referrals if you can. That might help you get your foot in the door somewhere.
Yeah for me I was only able to get work at Amazon and that’s because turnover is so high that they are almost always hiring. I’m still searching for work in my field, but after a year of no luck anywhere else (not even getting interviews) it’s the only option. So I guess I’ll deliver packages for now. I’m at the point in my life where I’m wanting to start my own business so this is temporary.
