I've applied to so many jobs, and the rejections are all the same generic "we're moving forward with other candidates' message." Even though it's probably a bot or someone copying and pasting these letters, it's hard not to take it personally after a while. Is anyone else noticing this?

I definitely felt that way early on in my job search and sometimes it still hits me a little bit, but I've learned that it's definitely nothing personal at all. It just feels personal because we were excited about the job, maybe.

I received a rejection email in the middle of the night 😭 I think it’s robots or they just don’t review your info. Especially if you know you are qualified possibly over qualified.

They're definitely bots. There is so much AI analysis of resumes and applications these days that if you don't have the exact keywords the AI is trained to look for, you're automatically rejected. I'd recommend throwing in a bunch of industry buzzwords and/or asking ChatGPT/Copilot to help you optimize your resume for AI analysis.

I think that I have eating disorder. I am always hungry but when I get food I can’t finish it, usually I am done after 2-3 bites and then I am hungry again after an hour. Anyone has similar issues? Have you been to a nutritionist or dietitian? If yes, is it covered by Insurance?

Do you read multiple books at once? Power through one at a time? Do you set a page or chapter daily/weekly goal? Only do audiobooks? Please share your reading habits so we 🐟 can borrow/steal like artists 🎨.

For me, I set 20-30 pg min/night and listen to a different audiobook to/from work. The audiobook thing is new as I've never read >1 at once. Considering 1 chapter/night w/ 3 different books (3 ch/night)... I just want to read them all though not sure - may muddle if one > others.

Received an offer for non- tech CCM role and wondering if I should accept. I feel like I was lowballed and downleved despite having 6 YOE (relevant but not in tech). Not sure it will be beneficial to leave my current role for this offer to get my foot in the door.

I’m at the cap for salary at the level/role and can’t negotiate offer any higher.
