I managed to secure an interview for JP Morgan Chase. This is for Asset & Wealth Management Global Private Bank Analyst program 2023. I ask my recruiter and he revealed me some info. This is a single interview session of 2 hours before getting any offer. I will face 5 interviewers. This will be all behavioral. For people who got into JP Morgan Chase, do you have any tip for me to pass this interview for this entry level role? JPMorgan Chase

You can tell the firm anything and they will listen. The promotion will take its own due course.
Yes they will say yes but depends on performance and when the YE discussion comes you are not performing at manager level
Yes you can tell them you want that and should tell them that if it is important to you. That doesn’t mean it will happen though.
PwC… came in as a Senior 3 from Deloitte and got promoted within the year! Deloitte culture was not diverse and I was burnt out - reason why I left
There’s a couple steps to getting promoted. #1 is certainly setting expectation. They will change workload/ responsibilities accordingly which is the first step towards proving yourself. Second step is visibility. Promotion discussions are held at high level and you need to make sure you’ve made enough of an impression on enough people to get them to argue for you and vote in your favor. Having one partner praise you won’t be enough. #3 is making sure you know what is expected of you and you execute on that. I’ve seen many people working themselves to death but in the wrong direction. Hard work does not mean you have earned the spot. Everyone here works hard. You need to make sure you are ticking the boxes that your managers+ are expecting of you
Yes, I did it and got promoted within a year. If it’s important to you then I will highly recommend mentioning it during your interviews (that’s what I did) and ask them if it’s possible so they can align you with the right people and client. It’s not guaranteed though since it’s dependent on your performance and business need/case. Goodluck buddy!
I mean if you stay at PWC and get promoted in a year you would then have the milestone bonus to think about
My point being why don’t you want to get promoted at ur current role
Thats possible in EY. I joined the peak of busy season and got promoted as manager. Business need was critical that time.
Honestly, i didnt discuss that it was goal. But prior to finalization of my lead form, I spoke to my counselor and my counselor spoke to the senior manager I worked with. Then then SM i worked with spoke to me if I was ready. The timing was good since our issuance went smoothly and the SM supported my promotion. I said that I would never know if im ready or not if I would not try to be one.
Yes, depending on when you start and if you're a good performer, you can get promo to supervisor next August and manager the year after. I made manager in just under 5 years
No CPA yet but moving to an interim title?

I mean you can always set expectations, but when going to a new firm I would think most places are caution about promoting lateral senior to manager too quickly so youd have to make sure you put your money where your mouth is. Senior to Manager is a huge step, and if you prematurely give someone jobs to manage that can cause real headaches.
Yeah but it probably won’t happen
You can tell them, recruiters will probably say oh that’s possible without explaining how hard it is to do. It takes alot of work but is entirely feasible if you can rise to the occasion. In that case though you should be asking during the interview what are the expectations for promotion to manager, the timeline discussions happen compared to when you’d be starting etc.
They are gonna say doable - they won’t be lying and you’ll have no additional info compared to when the convo began 😂🤙
Yes. Good idea to share your goals
