I’ve been at my job as a senior graphic designer in NYC for 5 years (I’ve been a working designer for 12 years total). In the last 6 mos, my dept has restructured and I went from being 1 of 6 designers (at or above senior level) to being the sole designer in my sub-dept working on highly conceptual projects for the brand. I’m going to ask for a raise bc I deserve it and haven’t had a major salary increase since I started. Is it crazy to ask for a 30% raise? I currently make ~70k (ik it’s low 🥴)
